Igbo Union Novelty Match 2024

The Igbo Union novelty match is a special event organized by the Igbo Union to bring together members of the community in a friendly and festive atmosphere. This sporting event typically features light-hearted and fun soccer matches among Igbo community members. It’s designed not only to promote physical activity and healthy competition but also to strengthen bonds within the community, celebrate Igbo culture, and encourage unity. Participants often wear custom jerseys representing their teams, and the event includes other cultural activities and social gatherings to make the day enjoyable and memorable for everyone involved.

For the upcoming Novelty match, we’ve organized into three teams, each with its unique color:

• Enyimba
• Nwannedimba
• Echidime

All members, both men and women, will be assigned to one of these groups. Each group will have facilitators responsible for organizing member participation in the novelty match.

We’re planning a variety of games for the day, and our facilitators will ensure that everyone gets a chance to join in the fun.

The focus of the day is on enjoyment and staying healthy. If you have high blood pressure or any other underlying health conditions, please limit yourself to light activities.

We encourage all families to bring along food and finger foods to complement what the union will provide, ensuring there’s plenty for everyone.
